If you think because you have insurance you are going to be cared for better than those who are not insured or under insured well let me tell you my story, and then you can help me understand why we are allowing are familys be a scam that is no differant than Madoff.

My boyfriend was charged 16,500.00 dollars just for a 75 mile care flight for a kidney stone diagnose, and this does not include additional charges from ground ambulance, ER, and DR. ect. He was not given any heroric care or even picked up at the bottem of cliff, in fact he was near a hospital that could have accomidated this common diagnose.

Insurance paid 10,000.00 and he was billed, 6,500.00 just for care flight. Now i on the other hand have no insurance and had a history of pre cancerous cervecal issuses. I became concerned do to severe menstrul bleeding that lasted 8 weeks a good reason to feel alarmed and want care. i was told to go to ER to be sure i did not need transfusion 4 times in that eight weeks and had many costly test done all the while hoping for a emergency historectomy. Only to be sent home i finaly saw a DR. as a personal favor of ER Dr. i was again given test and told i needed 10,000.00 to have what we agreed was needed. I was billed 12,000.00 by ER and DR.s to be told what i asked to be done do to prior condision. I ofcource was a hospital right off given to you the tax payers this includes myboyfriend. And here is another one My dad was on medicare and was negleted by hospital and was tranfered to second hospital and diagnosed with MRSA, he died from this and the two hospitals lied and never reported this to so many exposed to this. that means if you family member was around him or a medical worker, he was exposed to this i promise its true. keep this in mind the next time your family memember is sick hope that he is not disregarded for he sake of more proffitable or managble patient, Or a Dr. who is challenged by diagnose.

it is all about the proffit not the care.
