Default I need info....

I just got the same thing. The Carn Financial Sweeptakes! It say's I won 57,000 as well and gave me a check for over 3,000 to cover fee's of my winnings. They gave me a number to call but no one ever answers. So I decided to go the BBB and look into this company and there was nothing found. How did you loose money? Did you put the money in your account then spend it and then owed the bank back? Just wondering!

Need some advise
Cherise

PS
This company say's I only have till the 28th of this month!

Default Carn Financial

Sweepstakes winner of $57000. Boggess! The Bank says it is a real account, and if you can get to that bank and cash your check go for it!! But DO NOT deposit this check in your personal account.

When you call Lucinda Green, or whoever agent is, they will not be available but you'll get to talk to Morris and he will assure you that this is real and you really have won. But the BBB has never heard of Carn Financial nor has Carnival Cruiselines. In fact when I asked Morris what the affiliation with Carnival was he hung up on me. He hung up on me 3 times and I was very polite.

Carnival says that they do not sell the data to any 3rd parties, yet the only time my name has ever been affiliated with the address I received this letter at, was to book a cruise. So how Morris got my info is beyond me.

The only thing I can figure is that when you deposit this check, after it clears in order to receive your $57000 your instructed to wire back to him $3800. In the near future the check you deposited will have stop payment on it and the money wired to him he'll keep free and clear. Not only will you lose your own money but now this scam artist named Morris will have your bank info. So call Morris at the number printed in your letter and tell him to stop!!!! If you don't have the number any more it is 1-514-561-4239.

BEWARE!!!!!!

Default Scam Scam

I recieved the same letter and check for $3,977.65. I deposited the check in the bank and of course it came back as fraudulant. I called the number and asked for Justin Green, which is supposed to be my agent. I got a female named Yolanda Fisher who stated that Justin Green was unavailable, but she could help me. She told me that I needed to wire $3700.00 dollars in a money gram. Well, I'm not dumb. I was not going to wire that kind of money to anyone. When you win money, you are never asked to send money back. That's a sure sign of a scam. I called the 1-514-569-5763 # back again today, where Yolanda Fisher again answered the phone. I told her that they are scamming people and the checks are fraudulant. She then told me that no they are not. I only spend some of the money. Got some overdraft fee's but am requesting that the bank refund me for those fee's. It is a scam. Do not fall for it.

I too received notification that I had won $1,800,000.00 and had to pay a few hundred quid to receive it... apparently they couldnt send me a check as it would be out of date before it got here??? Even if they sent it from australia it would get here in time!!! lol

I reported them for phishing. I'd advise anyone else to do the same and if they continue to send me such mail? I'll go to the police and let them deal with it.

Safe surfing peeps
